Beta Launch: Fatal Exception

Fatal Exception is a deckbuilding roguelike where winning requires orchestrating your own destruction.
You discard cards to generate RAM, which is used to play cards, but those discarded cards form a Destructor deck that triggers adverse effects at the end of each turn.
Cards also evolve based on how you use them. Through experimentation, you’ll discover the triggers that Optimize or Corrupt cards, changing how they behave for the rest of the run. Even doomed runs help you progress, the knowledge you gain in one run will carry over to the next.
I’m looking for feedback on: *Does the tutorial clearly explain the core loop and risks? *Does the Destructor Deck feel like a meaningful and readable threat? *Is discovering card evolution triggers satisfying, or confusing/frustrating?
The game is free to play on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Web.
If you give it a try, I’d love your thoughts. You can leave comments here, email me at admin@archlichmedia.com, or opt in to the in-game run log system to share play data.
Thanks for checking it out! This is the stage where your feedback most directly shapes the game.
